    정민영 교수는 2017년부터 2022년까지 펜실베니아 주립대학교 그레잇벨리(Pennsylvania State University at Great Valley) 대학원 경영학과에서 조교수로 근무 후, 2022년부터 경희대학교 경영학과에 재직하고 있다. 정민영 교수는 경희대학교 경영학과를 졸업한 후(B.B.A.) 서울대학교 경영학과에서 석사학위(M.S. in Business Administration)를 받고,  State University of New York at Binghamton에서 조직행동과 리더십을 전공으로 경영학 박사학위(Ph.D. in Management)를 받았다. 조직행동 및 리더십과 관련한 다양한 연구 분야 중 특히 임파워링 리더십, 양면성과 균형추구, 자율의 역설, 분석수준과 다층모형을 비롯한 연구방법론에 깊은 관심이 있다. 현재 Human Relations (FT 50 Journal)의 Editorial Board 멤버로, 조직과 인사관리연구 (KCI Journal)의 편집위원으로 활동하며, The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Research Methods, Group & Organization Management 등 관련분야의 우수 저널에 다수의 논문을 게재하였다.
