Zhong-Ming WANG is professor of human resource management and entrepreneurship at School of Management, Zhejiang University, in China. He received a M.A. in personnel psychology from the Gothenburg University, Sweden (1985) and a Ph.D. (1987) in industrial and organizational psychology from Hangzhou University, a joint program with Gothenburg University in Sweden. He is currently the Executive Dean of School of Management and the Director of Center for Human Resources and Strategic Development at Zhejiang University. He is President of Chinese Society for Industrial and Psychology, Vice-President of Chinese Ergonomics Society, Vice-President of the Chinese Personnel Assessment Commission, and Member of the Chinese National MBA Supervisory Commission. <br />

Professor Wang is the associate editor of Journal of Management Development (UK), and on the editorial boards of International Journal of Human Resource Management (UK), International Journal of Selection and Assessment (UK), Applied Psychology (USA), Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology (USA), Journal of Organizational Behavior (USA), International Journal of Management Review (UK), Journal of Managerial Psychology (UK), and Journal of World Business (USA).<br />
<br />
Prof. Wang has published several books and many articles at home and abroad. His main research areas include managerial competence modeling, strategic human resources management, cross-cultural organizational behavior, personnel selection and assessment, performance appraisal, compensation and reward systems, organizational decision-making, virtual team and organization, leadership teams, organizational culture, and entrepreneurship.
